He was predeceased by : his parents, Maurice Stanley and Madeline Fouche Stanley; and his son Jon Christopher Stanley. He is survived by : his wife Sandra Stanley of Atlanta, Texas; his daughter Jana Stanley Swanson (Trevor) of Atlanta, Texas; his grandchildren, Sydney of Atlanta, Texas, Christopher of Atlanta, Texas and Cooper Swanson of Atlanta, Texas; and his brothers, Eddie Stanley (Charlotte) of Atlanta, Lee Stanley (Pat) of Atlanta and Mike Stanley (Renee) of Arlington, Texas. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends, family and fraternity brothers.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 9th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (306 Baker St, Atlanta, TX 75551). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 9th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
He was a member of the Atlanta Memorial Hospital Foundation Board of Directors for ten years, Atlanta Economic Development Committee for Fourteen years and the Industrial Development Board.
