He was predeceased by : his parents, Gerald Lee Marsh Carlile and John Cornelius Carlile. He is survived by : his wife Erna Carlile of Duncanville, TX; his son Shane Carlile of Ingram, TX; his step-daughters, Roberta Taylor (Eric) of Maysville and Tonya Sims (Derrick) of Arlington, TX; and his grandchildren, Jessie Alise, Caleb Carlile, Erica Cornelius, Michaela Prouty, Cody Dudley, Cole Dudley, Joey Sims and Rylie Sims. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 22nd 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Cedar Heights Baptist Church (201 E Belt Line Rd, DeSoto, TX 75104). A graveside service will be held on Monday, January 22nd 2024 at 11:15 AM at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery (2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211).
