We are sad to announce that on January 5, 2024, at the age of 76, Evonne A. J. Mondy of Beaumont, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Margaret Hollins Jackson and Joe Jackson; and her brothers, Felix Parker and Bennie Ray Jackson. She is survived by : her son Kavan V. J. Mondy (Melody) of Beaumont; her grandchildren, Alexander C. Akoneto (Taylor) of Fort Riley, Micah Mondy of Beaumont and Eva M. Mondy of Beaumont; her great grandchildren, Esai Akoneto of Fort Riley, Kansas and Kenai Red Hawk Akoneto of Fort Riley, Kansas; her nieces, Carole A. Jackson of Fort Worth and Cynthia R. Stevenson of Arlington; her great-nieces, Kayla Mathis of Fort Worth and Jasmine Mendez (Noe) of Lewis-McChord, Washington; and her nephew Larry Parker, Jr. of Fort Worth.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 10th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Broussard's Mortuary (1605 N Major Dr, Beaumont, TX 77713). A rosary will be held on Wednesday, January 10th 2024 at 5:30 PM at the Broussard's (1605 N Major Dr, Beaumont, TX 77706). A mass of christian burial will be held on Thursday, January 11th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church (3390 Sarah St, Beaumont, TX 77705).
