He was predeceased by : his parents, Bill Groves and Sarah Groves (Vaughn); and his parents-in-law, Charles and Alta Loyd. He is survived by : his wife Sherry Loyd of Sherman; his son Eric Groves (Mary) of Arlington, Texas; his siblings, Charles Groves (Margaret) of Mobile, Cynthia Patterson (Steve) of Snellville, Georgia, John Groves (MaryNell) of Springdale and Larry Groves (Sharon) of Wooster, Ohio.; and his brothers-in-law, Randy Loyd (Mary) of Grapevine and Mike Loyd of Unicoi. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 17th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Brown's Funeral Service - Durant (4900 W Hwy 70, Durant, OK 74701). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, January 17th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Brown's Funeral Chapel (4900 W Hwy 70, Durant, OK 74701).
