She was predeceased by : her parents, Lloyd Yost and Helen Yost; her son Mark Smith; and her husband James T. Smith. She is survived by : her children, Sheryl (Tim), Brian (Elaine) and Daniel (Krista). She is also survived by eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 22nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Grace Presbyterian Church (5500 Mansfield Rd, Arlington, TX 76016).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society, the ALS Association of Texas or to the New Day Program c/o Grace Presbyterian Church in Joan's memory.
