He was predeceased by : his parents, Irma Mae (Williams) and John Smith; and his siblings, Robert Lee Evans Sr., Albert Smith, Charles Ray Smith and Ruthie Williams.
He is survived by : his wife Priscilla Smith of Temple; and his children, Christopher "Chris" Minter (Norma) of Big Spring, Jonica Gary (Shawn) of Arlington, Kevin Williams of Abilene, Catherine Caldwell (Vince) of Lake Charles, LA, John Smith Jr. (Susan) of Lake Charles, LA, Ricky Smith of Abilene and Lyshinda Minter of Barstow, CA.. He is also survived by twenty-one grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 3rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Day Fellowship Church (510 E Avenue J, Temple, TX 76504).
