He is survived by : his mother Delores Scott of Arlington; his son Gary D. Scott (Missy Scott) of Leesville, LA; his sister Deborah Scott-McCurdy; his nephews, Calvin Patten III (Jeannette Jones) and John Burns of Arlington; and his niece Nanette (Steve Hoadley). He is also survived by three grandsons and eight great-grandchildren.
