He was predeceased by: his parents, John McCarthy and Estelle McCarthy; and his sons, Scott and Aaron McCarthy. He is survived by: his significant other Wanda Kay of Lampasas, TX; his daughters, Brandy Peiser (Kenneth) of Lampasas, TX, Allie McCarthy-Walters (John) of Lampasas, TX and Eleta Sanchez (Tony) of Marble Falls, TX; and his siblings, Patrick "Kelly" McCarthy of Fort Worth, Francis McCarthy (Michele) of Fort Worth, Tom McCarthy (Kay) of Georgetown, TX, David McCarthy (Terrie) of Fort Worth, Kathleen Graham (Richard) of Phoenix, Ariz, Sue Ranalla (Tim) of Anaconda and Nancy Baker (Foster) of Denton, TX. He is also survived by his 15 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and his many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Faith Lutheran Church (182 County Rd 4006, Lampasas, TX 76550).
