It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elvera Moeller Schmidt of Columbus, Texas, who passed away on January 2, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Frank Henry Moeller and Lillie Franziska Moeller (Maeckel); her sister Madeline Moeller; and her parents-in-law, Leroy Schmidt and Hilda Schmidt.
She is survived by : her husband David Schmidt; her sons, Kevin Schmidt (Janie) and Craig Schmidt (Becky); her grandchildren, Madeline Schmidt and Devon Schmidt; her step-grandchildren, Joe Luke Petrenella and Brooke Petrenella; her siblings, Leona Schramm (Herbert), Mary Ann Mikulenka (Ricky) and Leland Moeller (Marilyn); and her brother-in-law Bobbie Schmidt (Ruth). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 4th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (815 St Mary's Church Rd, Ellinger, TX 78940). A rosary will be held on Thursday, January 4th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 4th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
