It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Luis Rivera Jr. of Mission, Texas, who passed away on January 2, 2024, at the age of 46, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by : his wife Karina Rivera; his children, Tomasa Alexandra Rivera (Miguel Angel Cortez), Luis Gerardo Rivera (Kate) and Damian Rivera; and his grandchildren, Isai Cortez, Eliam Cortez and Dazael Rivera.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 4th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Virgil Wilson Mortuary (2200 N Conway Ave, Mission, TX 78572). A rosary will be held on Thursday, January 4th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 5th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, January 5th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Lord & I Cemetery- Palmview Tx (1203 E Goodwin Rd, Palmview, TX 78572).
