He was predeceased by: his grandfather Max Schubert; his parents, Mary Bell Yeamans and Benjamin Charles Gruener; and his stepfather Lloyd M. Yeamans. He is survived by: his wife Florene Schroeder; his children, David Charles Gruener (Christine) and Vicki Marie Sweat (Johnny Ray); his brother Claude Michael Gruener; his grandchildren, Cody Sweat (Kelly), Tyler Sweat (Chelsy), Mason Gruener (Olivia) and Emily Gruener; and his great grandchildren, Kade, Kyler, Karter, Kinley, Wyatt, Kasen, Hayden and Hunter Sweat. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Lakewood Funeral Chapel (98 Dixie Dr, Lake Jackson, TX 77566). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
