He is survived by: his wife Suzanne Kadane McLain; his children, Marlene Kirk (David), Jimmy McLain (Debbie), Meg Beene (Gary), Mary Atkins (Tim), Ernie Embry (Dawana), Melanie Mittel (Ron) and Andrew Embry (Lisa); and his grandchildren, Michael McLain (Katie), Melissa Thompson (Gregg), Jessica Fogarty (Brad), JD Kirk (Kaitlin), Elizabeth Tyler (Nick), Mathew McLain (Shenoa), Ben McLain (AJ), Sarah Olivarez (Nathan), Emily Atkins (Brody), Mason Atkins (Kelsie), Mark Atkins (Ashley), Jake Embry (Cigi), Nathan Embry (Kyrie), Madeline Taylor (Chas), Caroline Belt (Ty), Natalie Embry and Luke Embry. He is also survived by 26 great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, April 22nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Central Baptist Church (1749 FM148, Crandall, TX 75114).
