She was predeceased by: her husband Gary Lee Monroe; and her siblings, Violet Collins, Margie Prock and Ronald McCanless. She is survived by: her daughter Rebecca "Becky Lynn" Monroe Norman (James Quattlebaum); her grandchildren, Jason Corey Norman, Christopher Andrew Monroe and April Yvonne Monroe; and her daughter-in-law Cynthia Ragsdale Monroe. She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren & 1 great great grandson; 2 sisters, 1 brother, 2 half sisters, 2 half brothers and numerous nieces & nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sparkman-Hillcrest (7405 W Northwest Hwy, Dallas, TX 75225). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Round Pen Cowboy Church (5620 Michael Talty Ave, Terrell, TX 75160). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 3:00 PM.
