He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarencio Pina Garza and Juanita Elizondo Garza; his siblings, Amando Garza of Benavides and Francisca G. Saenz of Robstown, Texas; and his sons, Jesus Salinas Garza, Rene Salinas Garza and Roberto Salinas Garza of Benavides, Texas..
He is survived by: his wife Ancion Garza of Santa Fe, Texas; his children, Consuelo Colecio (Feliciano) of Concepcion, Clarencio Salinas Garza of Benavides, Sandra Martinez (Juan Carlos) of Dallas and Jesse Garza (Jessica) of Dickinson, Texas; and his daughter-in-law Hermelinda Garza. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and several beloved nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 8:00 AM at the Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Home (1016 E Gravis Ave, San Diego, TX 78384). A rosary will be held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
His life passions were a deep faith in God, love of family, giving to charity, spending time at the ranch/nature with family, an avid walker, celebrating life events with family and friends, and Red Lobster Sundays.
