It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roddy M. Carter (Weatherford, Texas), who passed away on April 5, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Carter and Grace Carter. He is survived by: his sisters, Gaylia and Janis; his sons-in-law, Chuck Stark, Ron Clegg and McAllen Coalson; his wife Deanne Hazard; his daughters, Kellye Carter Stark (Chuck) of Southlake, Kathy Carter Clegg (Ron) of Southlake and Karla Carter Coalson (McAllen) of Garner; his grandchildren, Jessica Stark Branch (Michael), Carter Stark (Wendi), Colby Coalson, Weston Clegg (Meagan), Ashton Coalson Hutte (Andrew), Brett Clegg Mulherin (Maxwell) and Raleigh Coalson (Maitlan); his adoptive sons, Ben Bartlett of Jackson Hole, Tommy Christiansen of Grimstad and Frankie Price of Weatherford, Texas; and his brother Jerry. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calendar First Baptist Church of Weatherford (222 W Church St, Weatherford, TX 76086). A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Weatherford (222 W Church St, Weatherford, TX 76086).
