She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Ada (Arnold) and Joseph Alfred "Jack" Gant; her son Monte Hill; and her granddaughter Terri Snipes. She is survived by: her husband Darwin Hill of Aquilla; her daughters, Cheryl Hill Snipes (David) of Aquilla and Beverly Hill Ham (Russell) of Dike; her daughter-in-law Paula Hill of Aquilla; her grandchildren, Colter Snipes (Megan), Allen McCutchan (Jennifer), Mark Hill (Amanda), Joshua Hill (Caitlin), Elizabeth Olsen (Thaynne), Erika St. John (Zach), Ethan Ham (Taylor) and Eli Ham (Mollye); and her sisters-in-law, Tress Blassingame and Bettie Hill. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren; 3 great great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel (808 S Reagan St, West, TX 76691). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Smith Bend-Coon Creek Cemetery (Clifton, TX 76644).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lebanon Church Building Fund or Smith Bend-Coon Creek Cemetery Association.
