Myrna left this world on September 7, 2025 at the age of 87, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Martha Sue and James Franklin Dooley; her birth father Gavan Garrett; her sister Sylvia Ann Sowders; her children, Julie Ann Smith, Gerald Wester and Carol Ann Thompson; and her stepdaughter Carol Ann Thompson.
She is survived by: her children, John Patrick Wester, Glenn Austin Wester, James D. Schulze, David E. Schulze and Linda Mills; and her sister Kathy Howden. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 12th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 AM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM and from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Zion Lutheran Church, Susan G. Komen, or the Texas Oncology Foundation.
