With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Martha Sue Burnett of Paris, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 15, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Hodnett and Susie Cuttrell Hodnett; her husband Billy Joe Burnett; her son Timmy Joe Burnett; and her sister Bonnie Cunningham.
She is survived by: her son Billy Burnett (Penny); her grandchildren, Tensie Burnett, Jalee Wright (Nathan) and Braley Burnett; her great grandchildren, Kaysiah Burnett, Kayson Burnett and Conley Jo Wright; her nephews, Greg Clark (Kristin) and Jeffrey Clark; her close friend Virgie Allen; and her caregiver Lexie Drake.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 17th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Pavilion of Hickory Grove Cemetery.
