She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Ira and Celesta Texana McBride (Lands); her husband Duane Newton Davis; her siblings, Florence, Celesta, Jackie, Teddy, Jerry and Carlton McBride; her siblings-in-law, Deloris Hill, Rex, Bruce and Terry Davis; and her son-in-law Greg Richmond.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Owen (Mary Davis), Calvin Joel Davis of Brenham and Sharon Richmond of College Station; her grandchildren, Carrie Richmond, Anne Richmond, Leah Winn, Peggy Wells (Brian) and Thomas Evans; and her brother-in-law Keith Davis (Rosalie).
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Fellowship Baptist Church (2000 FM389, Brenham, TX 77833). A burial will be held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 from 3:15 PM to 4:15 PM at the Prairie Lea Cemetery (1004 Prairie Lea St, Brenham, TX 77833).
