She was predeceased by: her parents, John Chavarria and Anita Chavarria (Juarez); her brother John Chavarria; and her siblings-in-law, Joe Brown and Kathy Chavarria.
She is survived by: her siblings, Minnie Romo (Raymond) of Hereford, Annie Brown of Austin, Lea Hendrick (Jimmy) of Amarillo, Texas, Robert Chavarria (Cathy) of Dallas and Cruz Chavarria (Mary) of Dallas, Texas; and her siblings' children, Cynthia Lightsey (Troy), Raymond Romo Jr. (Kristy), Stephen Romo (Amanda), JoAnn Serrano (Lou), Westley Brown (Whitney), Amanda Davis, John Tice (Dawn), Kellie Sweeden (John), Shelley Geddie (Luke), Sandy Chavarria, Bob Chavarria, Christine Kounty (Joseph), Lisa Longoria (Derrick), Denise Chavarria and Cruz Eric Chavarria (Britney). She is also survived by numerous great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home (105 Greenwood St, Hereford, TX 79045). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Anthony's Catholic Church (115 N 25 Mile Ave, Hereford, TX 79045). A burial will be held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery (115 N 25 Mile Ave, Hereford, TX 79045).
