She was predeceased by: her father Arthur Pate; and her husband Gordon Green. She is survived by: her mother Iva Mae; and her stepchildren, Joella Brazile of Arlington, Texas, Ronald Green of Sumner, Texas and Debbie Dean of Paris, Texas. She is also survived by eight step-grandchildren; and many step-great grandchildren.
The lying in state was held on Friday, June 12th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM. A graveside service was held on Saturday, June 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Meadowbrook Memorial Cemetery.
Ultimately, she succumbed to Alzheimer's dementia.
