He was predeceased by: his parents, John Cleveland Farris and Mamie Willard Farris; and his siblings, Vernon, J. C., Helen and Dorothy.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Farris; his daughter Sherry Farris; and his granddaughters, Kandice Moser, Shaela Ward (Gabriel), Jaden and Shaelyn (Braxton). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, June 10th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Greenwood Funeral Home (3344 White Settlement Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76107). A funeral service was held on Thursday, June 11th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Funeral Greenwood's Live Oak Chapel (3100 White Settlement Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76107). A burial was held on Thursday, June 11th 2026 at the Greenwood Memorial Park (3100 White Settlement Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76107).
