He was predeceased by: his parents, Oran Alford Sears and Audra Mae Bench; his former wives, Mildred Estelle Burcalow and Lamanda Ann Parsons; his daughter Mary Sears; and his siblings, Betty Jean Sears, Roy Lee Sears and Doris Marie Sears.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Sears; his children, Kevin Wayne Sears, Timothy Ray Sears, Glenda Sears and Linda Spears; and his stepchildren, Debra Lockhart and Michael Harris. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends.
The military honors will be held on Tuesday, June 23rd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:15 PM at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery (2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211).
