He is survived by: his children, Cassandra Benavides and Ramsey Benavides; his daughter-in-law Grace Benavides; his granddaughters, Victoria, Valencia and Vivianna Benavides; and his siblings, Vicente Benavides (Sylvia Benavides), Elma Hernandez (Arturo Hernandez) and Norma Cantu (Homer Cantu). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, June 12th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Jeter & Son Funeral Home (4830 W Illinois Ave, Dallas, TX 75211). A funeral service was held on Saturday, June 13th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
