He is survived by: his son Brian Wood; his daughters-in-law, Linda of Argyle, Texas and Janet Wood of Lantana, Texas; his stepdaughter Angela Bozarth; his grandchildren, Hannah, Ethan Wood, Ashley (Riley Carter) and Avery Bozarth; and his great grandchild Miles Carter. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 24th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (403 S Main St, Irving, TX 75060). The inurnment will be held on Wednesday, June 24th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery (2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211).
