She was predeceased by: her parents, Marshall Ray and Ethel Ray; her husband Saragossa Orta; her daughter Maria Orta; her grandson MSgt Robert Orta; and her great grandchild Bailey Wilkerson.
She is survived by: her children, Michael (Brenda Orta), Andrew Orta, Olivia "Kathy" Arbuckle and Richard (Susan Orta). She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 18th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Greenwood Funeral Home (3344 White Settlement Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76107). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 19th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the Funeral Greenwood's Live Oak Chapel (3100 White Settlement Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76107). A burial will be held on Friday, June 19th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Greenwood Memorial Park (3100 White Settlement Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76107).
