He is survived by: his wife Doris Stamey; his children, John Stamey and Carrie Stamey Aman; his grandchildren, Madeline Aman, David Stamey, William Aman and Sophie Aman; and his siblings, Mary Stamey Presley and John "Bud" Stamey (Janel). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and many dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 19th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Jaynes Memorial Chapel (811 S Cockrell Hill Rd, Duncanville, TX 75137). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 20th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
