She is survived by: her husband Reed Wernick; her children, Todd Stein (Kate), Amy Miller and Julie Stein; her stepdaughter Rachel Wernick; her grandchildren, Paige Jacobs (Benji Jacobs), Aaron Miller and Laurin Bernstein; her great grandchild Lincoln Jacobs; her sister Maureen Sampson; her sister-in-law Varna Bernstein; her niece Rebecca Grey; and her nephew Ted Sampson (Pamela Pinkus). She is also survived by extended family and honorary children.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, June 16th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Tiferet Israel Agudas Achim Cemetery (7801 Scyene Rd, Dallas, TX 75227).
