He is survived by: his wife Lola Joseph; his children, Leslie Gwin (Johny) of Bangkok, Thailand and Trenton Lewis (Leonor) of Plano, Texas; his grandchildren, McKenzie, Nicolas Gwin of Austin and Carter Lewis of Plano, Texas; his sister Sandra Bowman of Independence, Louisiana; and his niece Lisa Bryant of Houston, Texas. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, June 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St Paul Baptist Church (2921 Norris Cooley Dr, Texarkana, TX 75501).
