It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joseph A. Marcello of East Nassau, New York, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on January 3, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Rose Marcello (Gintole) and Joseph A. Marcello Sr.. He is survived by : his wife Irene Denaker; his children, Joseph Marcello III (Leona Hall), Justin Marcello, Sallieanne Bott and Christina Marcello (Jacob Beckwith); his brother George Marcello; and his grandchildren, Ashley (Joseph Saviano), Christopher, Troy (Danielle LaBelle), Katelynn, Jolieanna, Joycelynn and Shianne. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 5th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Thomas P. Mooney Funeral Home (11 Elm St, Nassau, NY 12123). A funeral mass will be held on Friday, January 5th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Church of the Immaculate Conception (732 US-20, New Lebanon, NY 12125).
