He was predeceased by : his parents, Orlo Truax and Minna Truax (Hasselbach); his son Brian Truax; and his brother Donald Truax. He is survived by : his wife Jodene M. Truax (Ciarfello); his children, Stephen Truax Sr. (Amanda), Jason Truax (Sarah), Christina Molnar (Joseph), David Truax Jr. (Colleen), Matthew, Nicholas Truax (Joni), Kristopher Truax (Amanda), Cory Truax Sr., Carrie D'Amico (David), Kaitlyn Truax (Brian), Brandon Truax, Brittany Truax (Jay), Ashley Truax (Salvatore), Lindsey Truax and Tyler Truax; his grandchildren, Stephen Jr., Stephanie, David III, Alyssa, Justin, Emma, Brian, Cory Jr., Cole, Jacob, Charlotte, Lilian, Kelly, Amelia, Josie and Skyler; and his pets, Calvin and Rosie.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 21st 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home (149 Old Loudon Rd, Latham, NY 12110). A mass of christian burial will be held on Monday, January 22nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Church of the Blessed Sacrament (607 Central Ave, Albany, NY 12206).
