Donald left this world on November 17, 2024 at the age of 85, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Smetana and Ann Smetana; his wife Dorothy; his stepmother Jean; and his brothers, Dennis and Tom Smetana.
He is survived by: his daughters, Debbie Petrie (Doug) and Donna Roszak (Paul); and his grandchildren, Joseph, Lucas Roszak and Stephanie Turner (Jon). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the Holy Angels Catholic Church (138 N 8th Ave, West Bend, WI 53095). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Sugar Camp Cemetery (7383 Blackberry Dr, Rhinelander, WI 54501).
In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Jude Children's Research hospital are appreciated.
