He was predeceased by: his parents, Herb Zimmerman and Hazel Zimmerman. He is survived by: his wife Viola; his brother Loren; his sister-in-law Joan Zimmerman; and his nephews, Steve Zimmerman Suzanne (Kathy) and Michael Zimmerman (Brenda). He is also survived by numerous grand children, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 29th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Gaffney Funeral Home (1002 S Yakima Ave, Tacoma, WA 98405). A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Calvary Cemetery (3850 Cleveland Ave SE, Tumwater, WA 98501). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, September 12th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the The Press Room (704 Opera Alley, Tacoma, WA 98402).
