She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Jenkins and Dolly Jenkins (Collins); her son Scott Shomaker; and her siblings, Dorothy Zahnow, Helen Walden, Paul Jenkins, Jr. and Lynn Jenkins.
She is survived by: her children, Lori Kleppin (Michael) of Mahomet, Troy Shomaker of Colfax and Stacey Shomaker (Dawn) of Towanda; her grandchildren, Ashley Hall and Conner Kleppin; her great grandchild Samuel Hall; and her sister Sarah Bourland of Bloomington. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 2nd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Duffy-Pils Memorial (201 N Harrison St, Colfax, IL 61728). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 2nd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the donor's choice of charity.
