She was predeceased by : her husband Dick; her parents, August Stroot and Mildred Stroot; and her sister Charlotte. She is survived by : her great grandchildren, Mia Hower and Michael Triezenberg.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 22nd 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Matthew Catholic Church (1303 Lincolnshire Dr, Champaign, IL 61821). A funeral mass will be held on Monday, January 22nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Carol was also very accomplished in creating needlepoint artwork and knitting blankets, mittens and hats for her family and as donations for the community.
