He is survived by : his wife Rosella Erickson of Georgetown; his children, Larry Erickson (Trish) of Georgetown, William Erickson, Jr. (Paula Burgess) of Chrisman and Billie Jo Erickson of Danville; his grandchildren, Jake Erickson of Champaign, Courtney Erickson of Cayuga, Katie Erickson (Rheyse Dice) of Danville, Beth Erickson (Frank Stanis) of Ridge Farm, Branden Harris (Harley Powell) of Georgetown, Jazzmin Russell of Danville, Paige Legrand (Robert Donithan) of Chrisman, Anthony Harvey of Georgetown, Melody Harvey of Georgetown, William Harvey of Georgetown, Dalton Legrand and Tyler Warren (Brooke Gilbert) of Georgetown; his grandfather Wezley Erickson of Georgetown; his great grandchildren, Landon Mayberry, Luka Craft, Faybian Erickson, Jakson Powell, Aalaina Stanis, Aadyn Stanis, Aaxton Stanis, Aacelee Stanis, Lincoln Donithan, Maverick Donithan, Paislee Legrand, Royce Donithan, Bentlee Legrand, Jahara Waters, Jade Waters, Della Bowles and Daxton Warren; his siblings, Richard Erickson, Sandy McDougal, Julie Shackman and Charlene Stout; his siblings-in-law, Tim Rollins (Ramona) and JoAnn Grider; his nieces and nephews, Steven Tucker, James Grider, Tyler Shackman, Shawn Doggett, Stacey Doggett, Sara Shackman, Liza Erickson, Kemma Grider and Stephanie Ndungu (Tony); and his close friends, Donnie Hawn and Kenny Miller.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 18th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sunset's Houghton-Leasure Funeral Chapel (200 E West St, Georgetown, IL 61846). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
