It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gene King (Urbana, Illinois), who passed away on January 17, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including his family, friends.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Patrick Catholic Church (708 W Main St, Urbana, IL 61808). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 27th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Urbana Country Club (100 E Country Club Rd, Urbana, IL 61801).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Gene's name may be made directly to the St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry in care of St. Patrick Catholic Church.
