He was predeceased by : his parents, Paul Meinhart and Elizabeth Meinhart (Bierman); his wife Ruth Niebrugge; and his siblings, Earl Meinhart, Mildred Buehnerkemper, Ruth Diebel and Rosella Laley.
He is survived by : his children, Paul Meinhart (Julie) of Wheeler, Jim Meinhart (Lois) of Teutopolis, Joe Meinhart (Brenda) of Dieterich and Carol Meinhart of Champaign; his grandchildren, Kristi, Lori and Andy Meinhart (Shelby); his children, Brittany Nuxoll (Roger), Chelsea Zerrusen (Clay), Nick Meinhart (Molly), Zachary Meinhart (Shayna), Michael Meinhart, Justin Lohmeier (Wendy) and Brandon Hickey; his close friend Charlene Hartke; and his sister-in-law Helen Jansen (Benny). He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 23rd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (16987 N 200th St, Teutopolis, IL 62467). A mass of christian burial will be held on Wednesday, January 24th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
