It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles David Jarvis of Redmon, Illinois, who passed away on January 15, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Ollie Franklin and Beulah Mae Jarvis (Sago); his former life partner Sherry Clark Jarvis; his siblings, William "Bill" Jarvis, Franklin Jarvis, Everette Jarvis, Addie Mae Shelman, Mary Elliott and Louise Carrol; and his grandchildren, James Sherman Blair Jr. and Tristan James Charles Jarvis.
He is survived by : his wife Linda Jarvis; his children, Donnie Jarvis of Owensboro, KY, Kathy Walker of Owensboro, KY, David Jarvis (Karen) of Belleville, IL, Melinda Jarvis (Larry Trotter Jr.) of Charleston, IL, Jamie Jarvis of Champaign, IL, Eric Jarvis of Redmon, IL and Nathan Jarvis (Merideth) of Mattoon, IL; his grandchildren, Patrick Jarvis (Kaylie Kirby), Brittany Sullivan (Shawn), Rachel Blair, Trace Trotter, Trevin Trotter, Gage Jarvis, Tressa Trotter, Kiera Trotter, Shyanne Trotter and Nevaeh Elizabeth Jarvis; his great grandchildren, Nova Kay Jarvis, Serenity Mae Sullivan, Abigail Hazel Hash and Haddie Marie Jarvis; and his siblings, Kenny Jarvis (Susanne) and Wanda Boren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 22nd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Edwards Funeral Home (221 E Main St, Arcola, IL 61910). A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 22nd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
