We are sad to announce that on January 20, 2024, at the age of 74, Larry D. Liggett of Monticello, Illinois, born in South Bend, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert Liggett and Ruby Liggett (Britton); and his brother Gary Liggett of South Bend, IN. He is survived by : his wife Rhonda Liggett of Monticello; his children, Jennifer Liggett (Sarah) of Rantoul and Paul Liggett (Jennifer) of Champaign; his step-sons, Adam Pirtle and Jacob Pirtle; and his siblings-in-law, Allen Weddell of Indiana, Wayne Morris of Monticello and Connie Morris of Monticello. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 31st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mackey-Wright Funeral Home (215 E Washington St, Monticello, IL 61856). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 31st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
