He was predeceased by : his parents, Wesley M. and Mary E. Schwengel (Conley); and his brother Phillip Schwengel. He is survived by : his children, Erika Lynn Clements (Joe) of Baxter, TN and Jon Andrew Schwengel (Emily) of Portage, MI; his grandchildren, Ellie Whitlock (Carson) of Knoxville, TN, Jake Clements of Baxter, TN, Grace Schwengel of Portage, MI, Caroline Schwengel of Portage, MI and Emma Schwengel of Portage, MI; his great grandchild Annie Whitlock; his brother Marc Schwengel (Yvonne) of Opdyke, IL; and his sister-in-law Sharon Schwengel (Tammy Austin) of Tuscola.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 1st 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, February 2nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM. A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 2nd 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Thompsonville Community of Christ Church (3663 Chestnut St, Thompsonville, IL 62890).
Friends may make memorials to Brush Creek Campground, Thompsonville Community of Christ Church, or Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research and will be accepted at the funeral home.
