It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Lee Moorehead of Rantoul, Illinois, who passed away on January 26, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Doris Lee Moorehead to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Joseph "Abe" Baisden and Ida Mae Fry Baisden; her husbands, John Mason Kirk and Arnold Moorehead; her siblings, Edith Tackett, Ethel Moore, Ruth Grubb (Harold Baisden), Mary Rose Crawford, Jean Keith, Joyce Hager and Larry Baisden (Linda Sue Farley); and her pet Prissy.
She is survived by : her brother Bill Baisden (Patricia) of Sebring, FL; and her children, Ronda Kirk (Dennis Farley) of Rantoul, IL and Johnnie Kirk (Donna) of Battleboro, NC.. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and many wonderful friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 16th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Rose & Quesenberry Funeral Home (1901 S Kanawha St, Beckley, WV 25801). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 16th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
