He was predeceased by : his parents, Daniel Franklin and Gracie Irene Ashby (Hunt); his wife Florence Karnes; his grandson Joshua Jay Ashby; and his brothers, Frank Ashby and Denver Ashby.
He is survived by : his son Billy Ashby, Jr. of Pekin; his grandchildren, Billy Ashby of Alabama and SeAnna Ashby (Shawn) of Manito; his great grandchildren, Connolly Ashby and Zander Ashby; and his brothers, Tommy Ashby of Rantoul and Guy Ashby of Rantoul.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 3rd 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory (500 N 4th St, Pekin, IL 61554). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 3rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
