He was predeceased by : his parents, George Buckley and Sarah Buckley; his wife Carrie Harmon Buckley; and his siblings, Waltine Johnson, Ollie Mae Harris, Samuel Sibley, Christine Parnell, Johnny Buckley, Harriet Octavia Cole and Helen Dunnigan.
He is survived by : his sister Maudine Taylor of Jackson Mississippi; his daughter Karen Buckley Washington; and his grandson James Washington of Lawrenceville, GA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, godchildren and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 28th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mount Olive Baptist Church (808 E Bradley Ave, Champaign, IL 61820). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 28th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
