He was predeceased by : his parents, Gilbert Shmikler and Marian Shmikler (Goldsmith); and his brother Michael (Michelle). He is survived by : his wife Elizabeth Stein; his son Joshua Shmikler (Katherine); his brothers, Robert (Barbara) and Samuel (Amy); his granddaughter Hannah; and his nieces and nephews, Daniel, Richard Frazin, Jonathan, Aaron, Jared, Benjamin, Jill Frazin and Talia.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 29th 2024 at 12:15 PM at the Shalom Chapel Service Shalom Memorial Funeral Home (1700 W Rand Rd, Arlington Heights, IL 60004).
