It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn Welch Honn (Urbana, Illinois), born in Tuscumbia, Alabama, who passed away on March 5, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, William McWilliams (Bill) and Cora McWilliams; her husband Louis Fredrick Welch; her sons, Charles Welch, Thomas Welch of Ridgeland Mississippi and Steven Welch of Urbana Illinois; and her step-children, Carolyn Edwords of Mesquite Texas, Stan Honn of Eugene Oregon and Sara Qualls. She was also cherished by five granddaughters, three grandsons, two great-grandsons, and one great-granddaughter.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 10th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Philo Road Church of Christ (2601 Philo Rd, Urbana, IL 61802). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 10th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the Philo Road Church of Christ in Urbana.
