It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ric Ruggieri (Champaign, Illinois), born in Sherman, Texas, who passed away on March 4, 2024, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Alexander Ruggieri and Irene Ruggieri; and his siblings, Carlos Cordova and Laura Santhanam. He is survived by : his wife Kerri Ruggieri; his children, Laurie McFarland, Lindsay Ruggieri, Adana Saucedo, Seth O'Connell, Zachary Ruggieri and Jacob O'Connell; and his siblings, Alex Ruggieri and Veda Ruggieri Scholle. He is also survived by his three grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 10th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Owens Funeral Home (101 N Elm St, Champaign, IL 61820). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 10th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
