We are sad to announce that on March 7, 2024, at the age of 88, Patricia Thompson of Champaign, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles Arie and Agnes Arie of Urbana, IL.; her son Mark Thompson; her son-in-law Michael Phillips; and her siblings, Mary Wood (Maurice), Thomas Arie (Betty), Charles Arie (Bonnie), Ruth Miller (Francis), James Arie (Joanne), John Arie (Jeanette) and Judy Arie.
She is survived by : her husband Rex Thompson; her children, Kimberly Eichelberger (Jeff) and Matthew Thompson; her grandchildren, Mitch Phillips (Melissa), Taylor Phillips and Conner Thompson; and her great grandchildren, Brayden and Addyson Phillips.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 12th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the St Boniface Catholic Church (416 County Rd 1100 N, Seymour, IL 61875). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, March 12th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Tuesday, March 12th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Woodlawn Cemetery (1803 N Coler Ave, Urbana, IL 61801).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Heart Association and American Cancer Society in Pat's honor.
