She was predeceased by : her parents, Anselm B. Blickhan and Clara A. Blickhan (Bockhold); her husband Paul L. Schuering, Sr.; her son Paul L. Schuering, Jr.; and her siblings, Clarence Blickhan, Thomas Blickhan, Paul Blickhan, Joseph Blickhan, Rita Blickhan, Dorothy Glisan and Emma Brueggeman.
She is survived by : her great grandchild Gin Rummy; her children, Pam Schuering-LaTour of Quincy, IL. and Ned Schuering of Quincy, IL.; her grandchildren, Chantel Schuering, Brent Schuering (Melanie), Nathan Schuering, Holly Meyer, Jeremiah LaTour (Jill Edmunds) and Courtney LaTour; her great grandchildren, Kaitlyn LaTour, Cameran LaTour, Garrett Schuering, Bailey Schuering, Damin Meyer, Emma Meyer and Logan Meyer; her daughter-in-law Diane Schuering of Mahomet, IL; and her siblings, Bernice Dittmer and John Blickhan (Barb).
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 15th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A prayer will be held on Saturday, March 16th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home (823 Broadway St, Quincy, IL 62301). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, March 16th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church (1119 S 7th St, Quincy, IL 62301).
