With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Tauby Shimkin (Savoy, Illinois), who passed away on March 24, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Emanuel Heller and Sarah Gofseyeff Heller; her brother Mort; her husband Demitri; her son-in-law Ray; and her children, Rae and Ellie (Gary).
She is survived by : her sons, Joel (Lou) and Jeremy; her grandchildren, Claire, Charlotte (Patrick), Rayden (Zoe), Lisa (Corey), Manu (Gilly), Sophia (Yoni) and Ari; and her pet Bobe Kitty. She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 26th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Sinai Temple (3104 Windsor Rd, Champaign, IL 61822).
